Bandit Golf Balls are Setting
New Guinness World Records!
On May 27th at the Whiteford Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan at the first qualifier of the 2006 Extreme Long Drive World Challenge the Bandit Maximum Distance golf balls were used by Scott Zink to set the following New World Records for distance and golf ball speed. These new records have been submitted under the claim numbers referenced and are pending final processing before they are officially recorded as the new Guinness World Records.

  • Long Drive Overall Distance World Record:  New Record is now 566 yards.  Old record from March of 2004 by Scott Smith of 539 Yards at an LDA Tour Event in Albuquerque, New Mexico. [Guinness World Record Claim #165956]
  • Long Drive Carry Distance World Record:  New record is now 527 Yards.  Old record from July of 1993 by Jack Hamm of 458 Yards during the Hammer Promotion in Highland Ranch, Colorado. [Guinness World Record Claim #165958]
  • Golf Ball Overall Combined Distance World Record (Right Hand/Left Hand added together):  New Record is now 1018 Yards.   Old Record from October of 2002 by Scott Zink at 957 Yards at Partridge Creek Country Club in Clinton Twp., Michigan. [Guinness World Record Claim #166978]
  • Golf Ball Overall World Speed Record:  New record is now 245 MPH.  Old record from October of 2002 by Scott Zink at 235 MPH at Partridge Creek Country Club in Clinton Twp., Michigan.  [Guinness World Record Claim #166983]
  • Golf Ball Combined World Speed Record (Right Hand/Left Hand added together):  New Record is now 460 MPH.  Old record from October of 2002 by Scott Zink at 450 MPH at Partridge Creek Country Club in Clinton Twp., Michigan. [Guinness World Record Claim #166981]
